Michigan Accountancy Foundation Scholarship Deadline Draws Near
Since 2003, the Michigan Accountancy Foundation has granted over $1,000,000 to nearly 300 Michigan accounting students. MAF scholarships of up to $3,000 assist current college accounting majors in funding their fifth/graduate years. Accounting majors in their senior year are encouraged to apply. Look for links to the online and PDF application forms on the MAF website; the deadline is Jan. 29.

While the focus of the scholarship is accounting majors entering their fifth year of studies, additional considerations will be made. Along with answers provided on the scholarship application, the following will also be considered: Physically challenged, self-supporting student status, financial need and minority status. In some instances, because of donor restrictions, consideration will be given to the school attended by the recipient. Please note this information on the scholarship application.
