1. Eligibility
  • Open to any accounting firm located in Michigan that employs at least one current MICPA member.
  • Firms must submit all required fields through the official entry form, including photos, description, and permissions.
2. Submission Requirements
  • Each firm may submit one entry only.
  • Entries must include:
    • 2-3 photos of the firm’s office or workspace
    • A brief written description (100–150 words) of the firm’s space, culture, or vibe
    • Details about accessibility, employee well-being, sustainability, or innovative design
  • By submitting, firms grant MICPA permission to use the content (photos, firm name, and description) in print, digital, and social media for promotional purposes.
3. Selection Process
  • MICPA will feature up to 15 firms in the Coolest CPA Cribs in Michigan digital gallery launching in 2026.
  • If 15 or fewer eligible entries are received, all may be included.
  • If more than 15 entries are received, MICPA will use internal review tools and predefined criteria to help organize and evaluate submissions.
  • Final selections will be reviewed and confirmed by MICPA staff to ensure alignment with professional standards and representation across firm size, geography, and innovation.
  • Additional eligible firms may be recognized as Honorable Mentions in MICPA communications.
4. Voting & Winner Determination
  • Once the digital gallery is published, a public voting period will open to determine the Coolest Firmz in Michigan.
  • Voting will be open to the public through an MICPA-hosted form.
  • Automated or fraudulent voting attempts may result in disqualification of votes or entries at MICPA’s discretion.
  • The firm receiving the most verified votes at the close of voting will be recognized as the Coolest Firmz in Michigan and will receive a commemorative plaque and digital recognition across MICPA channels.
  • MICPA reserves the right to verify eligibility and results before announcing the final winner.
5. Use of Technology & Data
  • MICPA may use automated tools or analytics to organize, verify, or filter submissions. All final decisions will include human review and oversight.
6. General Terms
  • Participation in this campaign constitutes agreement to these rules.
  • MICPA reserves the right to modify or cancel the campaign if unforeseen circumstances interfere with the fair administration of the process.
  • By submitting an entry, the firm affirms that all information provided is accurate and that MICPA may edit descriptions for clarity, length, or style consistency prior to publication.
  • The campaign is for celebratory and promotional purposes only. No cash prizes or goods of material value will be awarded beyond the plaque and recognition.
  • All decisions by MICPA are final.
