Volunteering with MICPA enhances professional growth, fosters community, and gives you a seat at the table to influence your organization and the profession. It promotes knowledge-sharing, improves you/your firm’s work, and opens pathways to leadership opportunities.
“The volunteering I’ve done with the MICPA has made me a better businessperson and helped me to service my clients better. Talking with others I’ve met through the [association] has allowed me to adopt a clearer vision of what I want
my firm to be. It’s opened opportunities that I don’t think would have been possible had I not been active within the MICPA.”
- MICPA past chair Jamie Lopiccolo, CPA/CGMA, Founder, Capocore Professional Advisors
