The Michigan Department of Treasury announced it will provide state tax filing and payment extensions to individuals and businesses located in counties impacted by the severe winter storm that occurred March 15-16.
The Michigan Department of Treasury announced it will provide state tax filing and payment extensions to individuals and businesses located in counties impacted by the severe winter storm that occurred March 15-16.

According to Treasury, the relief does not apply automatically, but taxpayers living in or operating businesses inside Alcona, Alpena, Delta, Missaukee, Ogemaw, Osceola, Roscommon and Wexford counties can request additional time to file state tax returns or make payments without incurring additional interest or penalties.
