IRS Announces Major Business Accounts Expansion

IRS Business Tax Accounts are now available to partnerships, tax-exempt organizations and governments, including federal, state, local and tribal institutions. According to the agency, expanding the online self-service platform to include these entities will reduce burdens associated with paper and phone interactions for simple IRS tasks, like making payments or viewing tax balances, among other things.
