MICPA President and CEO Bob Doyle testified Thursday, Oct. 1, before the Michigan Senate Regulatory Affairs Committee in support of Senate Bill 1113, sponsored by Sen. Dayna Polehanki (District 5). The bill, which would create an additional pathway to CPA licensure in Michigan, closely mirrors House Bill 4893, which MICPA and its members
have advocated for over the past year. The committee unanimously approved SB 1113, sending it to the Senate floor for a vote.
